"Give your reaction to Perry’s confession in the car. Comment on the details he brings up. How did you respond to this information?"
I believe that everything he said was absolutely the truth, and that it didn't even occur to him to lie about anything. I think that how he handled the situation was completely weird. He felt compassion for the family, said he didn't really want to kill them, and he even protected Nancy from Dick, but he still was the one who cut Herb's throat and started the murdering. I was disgusted by his confession, but I also felt kinda bad for him, because he had a crappy and backwards upbringing.
Jessica, your journals are extremely well-done. You use what you know about the book and are able to really dive into each topic. Nicely done! :)
